Hey Hey Hey, No Decay

So I had to give up my French leather club sofa by Grange because it didn’t fit through the vestibule in our new place.  My first thought was “oh well, I guess I have to find a different type of sofa.  Wouldn’t it be awesome if I could find the Peter Hvidt sofa to match my France & Son coffee table?”

I went antiquing this afternoon and guess what I found…  Yup.  That sofa.  I really wanted to go for it, but this example was reupholstered with some awful reproduction colonial material.  The kind you see in dated hotels and conference centers.  It was also $1,500 more than the last example I saw, so I decided to hold my breath a bit longer and see what turns up.
