For Al10rnothing, Ellis’ C-Record Century equipped road bike at NAHBS 2010. A childhood fantasy come reality, he outbid me on this mint Campagnolo C-Record Century group on Ebay a few years ago.

I am looking forward to having a giant space where I can be surrounded by my work and still be completely miserable.

I’ve loved Cherubim for quite some time; I’m obsessed with their avant-garde approach to frame construction and geometry. Everything they do is new and awe-inspiring. The bike on the upper left is what they were doing back in 1980.
Pure genius.
Just for reference, here’s another Colian that appeared on eBay, just a few days after I found mine last spring. I love the three point lugs and webbed bottom bracket shell.
Over on the bottom right is a Colian Pursuit Tandem. I have a really bizarre Colian Criterium frame with a wishbone rear stay, Hetchins-like lugs, and a retro fade paint job. I know that Mr. Laing made some wild stuff, but I haven’t seen anything like that pursuit tandem!
Cherubim, always stealin’ the show.
I wanted to go to NAHBS so badly this year. I really need to get my act together.
